The ability to spend quality time with loved ones during a person’s final days is the goal of Gaia Home. More and more facilities around the country are being built to accommodate families and their desire to be present for a family member in their last days – with specialized care helping all of them through the journey.
Maybe it is something as simple as grandchildren coming to do homework after school and being near a grandparent. Or possibly bringing in a toddler for a tea party, book reading or a comforting hug.
Gaia Home will provide the specialized end-of-life care currently missing in the region, in a warm, safe, home-like environment with room for family to interact, hang out, share meals and spend quality time together.
